How do I use GetUnbored?

GetUnbored is easy to use. The drag and drop user interface will put the most popular promotions, clubs, events and activities right at your fingertips. Simply touch or click an interest category to reveal suggestions within that category. Then drag and drop these suggestions into the search box, then type in your city or zip code, and hit “Go”.

Can I use GetUnbored if I don't have a touch screen computer?

Absolutely! Just use your mouse to drag and drop icons into your search box.

What if I don’t see the icon that I am interested in?

GetUnbored has created icons for the most common and heavily searched terms. We suggest that users browse through the categories and select the icon that most closely matches what you are looking for. GetUnbored will soon provide an application that will allow users to create customized icons for more specific interests. For more information about creating custom icons, please fill out an information request on our Homepage.

I picked the wrong icon, how do I get it out of my search box?

Run your finger or mouse over the bottom of the icon in the search box. This will highlight the “remove” option which appears in orange text. Just touch or click the “remove” option to remove that icon from your search.

Why is the search box limiting how many icons I can search for?

GetUnbored limits your search to 6 icons at one time. This is to ensure the quickest and most accurate results.

Do I have to know the zip code for the area I am searching?

No. The GetUnbored search box allows you to search by zip code or City.
